Learndash myCred Integration - FAQs

General Options:

Award Quiz score as myCRED points is not awarding Quiz points.

From Default Points > Learndash > General Options > Award Quiz score as myCred points select If quiz passed or Awards points in any case. Also, make sure to set the Quiz score multiplier to 1.

How to stop adding creds when re-attempting course/lesson/topic/quiz?

Go to Default points > Learndash > General Options and uncheck Allow Multiple Creds.

How to delete earned creds/points of courses?

Go to Default points > Learndash > General Options and check to Delete User Creds then go to the user profile and at the end check Permanently Delete Course Data and click update user. It will delete Learndash course data as well as myCred points. You can also manually update user points from user profile page.

Multiple Points types can be awarded on a single course/lesson/topic/quiz when completed?

Yes, multiple points type can be awarded on a single course/lesson/topic/quiz completion. Go to the specific edit course/lesson/ topic/quiz page and on the right sidebar Insert the values for each point types.

Badges Options:

To use Badges options make sure to enable your required option from Default points > Learndash > Badges Options

Badges are not assigning to courses/lessons/topics/quizzes 

Make sure to activate myCred Badges addon. Go to Default Points > Add-ons and enable Badges addon. Also, make sure to check the required options in the Learndash > Badges options.

How can I create a new badge?

Make sure to activate myCred Badges addon. Go to Default Points > Badges and add new badges, the select image for the badge and publish it.

How can I select badge to be awarded on completing Course/lesson/topic/quiz?

Go to the specific edit course/lesson/topic/quiz page and on the Badges post box at the right sidebar and select the badge to be awarded.

How to show the earned badges of the user on the frontend?

Create a page and place shortcode [mycred_my_badges] inside it. It will show the earned badges of the current user.

How to show all the badges on the frontend?

Create a page and place shortcode [mycred_badges] inside it. It will show all the badges on the page.

Redeeming Options:

To use Redeeming options make sure to enable your required option from Default points > Learndash > Redeeming Options

How to allow users to redeem only remaining points when redeeming points to unlock the courses?

From Default Points > Learndash > Redeeming options check option Allow students/users to redeem only remaining points. It will consider your Learndash points first and then add the remaining points from myCred points to fulfil the required amount of points to unlock courses. 

How to exclude any point type from redeeming?

From Default Points > Learndash > Redeeming options > Exclude Point Type from Redeeming Type or Select the Point Types to be excluded from redeeming. Excluded point types will not show in the points type drop down when unlocking or buying a course or unlocking drip lessons.

Note: Exclude point type option on specific course/lesson pages will override the global settings from Learndash myCred Settings.

What if users have enough amount (points) to redeem when unlocking or buying a course or unlocking drip lessons?

From Default Points > Learndash > Redeeming Options check to Enabled Option to buy myCred point. If this option is enabled, and the user has fewer points for unlocking/buying course than the essential points, then Purchase Now button will show in the pop-up, that will take the user to the purchase points page.

Note: To buy myCred points buyCRED add-on should be installed and activated.
